Consultation – We will discuss your style, what kind of makeup you wear and your brow preferences. Your answers, along with facial measurements, will help determine the style, shape and placement of your new eyebrows. We will discuss which type of eyebrow tattoo (microblading, microshading, ombre, powder brows, 3D brows, feather strokes, machine shading or a combination of permanent makeup techniques) is best for the look you desire. Please wear your normal brow makeup to the appointment and feel free to bring pictures of brows you like.
Numbing – Two types of numbing cream will be applied on the area being treated to minimize discomfort.
Mock-Up – Next, we’ll create a mock-up of your new brow shape directly on your skin using a special waterproof pencil. This allows you to see the outline of your new brows before any pigment is implanted.
Procedure – You will then lay down and relax as the procedure begins. A typical brow appointment lasts 2 to 3 hours. The perfecting session done 6 weeks after the initial treatment can last from 45 minutes to an hour and a half.
Prior to your appointment - The eyebrow area must be healthy, strong, non-sensitive, and non-irritated. Here’s how to get your skin ready for the procedure:
At least two weeks prior: Do not have any type of facial or Botox/Dysport; Do not tan or have a sunburned face.
At least 72 hours prior: Avoid tweezing, waxing, electrolysis or tinting your eyebrows. Avoid vitamin E, fish oil, aspirin and ibuprofen as these can thin the blood and lead to a poor result.
24 - 48 hours prior: Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours prior to the procedure.
Day of your appointment: Avoid working out and coffee or anything with caffeine.
