What to Expect

Consultation – We will discuss your skin type, what kind of makeup you wear, and your brow goals. Your answers, along with facial measurements, will help determine the style, shape, and placement of your new eyebrows. We will then decide which technique, color, and style will work best for you. Please feel free to bring inspo pictures of your desired results or how you normally wear your makeup.

Design – Next, we’ll map out and draw on the shape using a waterproof pencil. This allows you to see the shape of your new brows and make any adjustments needed before we start.

Color - Pigment will be selected and swatched directly on your skin for approval.

Numbing – Numbing cream will be applied to minimize discomfort. Pain tolerance varies from person-to-person, but most clients don't feel much and some even fall asleep.

Procedure – Once the area has been numbed, you will lay down and relax as the procedure begins. A typical appointment lasts 3-3.5 hours. The perfecting session done 6-8 weeks after the initial treatment can last from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours.

A full consultation is done at the beginning of each appointment. However, if you want to learn more about which techniques are right for you, have previous brow tattoos/microblading, or have other questions or concerns, please book a consultation.

Brow Enhancement

$625

Nano Hair Strokes (less invasive than microblading), Powder shading, or a combination of techniques is the modern solution for clients with sparse, over-tweezed, or thinning eyebrows. These techniques are ideal for covering scars and gaps, defining shape, creating an arch, and adding density to create the perfect brows for you. Brows can be customized from soft and subtle to a more dramatic makeup look, based on client preference.

Brow Correction

$725+

For clients with previous brow work from another artist. During your appointment, we will discuss your brow goals and how best to correct your existing shape/color .

*You must send clear, well-lit photos to Jenny@ArtizenInk.com for approval before booking this appointment regardless of how old, or faded they are. Not all brows can be corrected and many require lightening first. Please send three full face photos - one facing front and one of each side.

Cosmetic Tattooing is a two-step procedure. A 6-8 week touch-up is needed to complete your look.

Touch-up/Color Boost for Returning Clients

Most clients will need a 6-8 week touch-up on their brows to complete their look. How well brows heal and retain pigment after the first session varies based on client skin type, health, sun exposure, skin care, and adherence to both the appointment prep and aftercare instructions.

Color Boost - Up to 18 months

For existing clients of Artizen Ink who have had an eyebrow enhancement within the previous 18 months. Book this appointment to keep your brow color looking fresh!

Color Boost 18 - 36 months

$475

For existing clients of Artizen Ink who have had an eyebrow enhancement within the previous 18-36 months.

To Prepare for your Appointment:

Skin Care

Botox/Dysport

Avoid skincare products containing rapid-exfoliators in the brow area such as retinols, acids, and Vitamin C for at least four weeks. Clients using prescription strength Tretinoin/Retin-A, must discontinue use for two months prior.

Accutane users must wait at least one year after stopping use.

Botox/Dysport

If you're planning to have Botox/Dysport, injections should be done at least two weeks prior, or scheduled at least two weeks after your appointment.

Preparing the Skin

Prior to all Permanent Makeup Procedures, Avoid:

The skin should be strong and healthy, with no active acne, psoriasis or eczema in the brow area. Avoid tanning, hair removal, and laser treatments for at least two weeks. Avoid brow growth serums for at least four weeks. Do not use any long-wear brow makeup (Wunderbrow, waterproof powder/pencil, etc.) for one week.

Prior to all Permanent Makeup Procedures, Avoid:

1 week - Blood thinners including aspirin, ibuprofen, (Tylenol is ok) Fish Oil, Niacin. Please check with your doctor before stopping any medications.
48 hours - Alcohol
Day of - Caffeine, Exercise
